None of our Choc Pot, Choc Shot or Choc Shake ingredients contain any of the 14 major food allergens (cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soybeans, milk, nuts, celery (including celeriac), mustard, sesame, sulphur dioxide/sulphites, lupin or molluscs), but the factory where they are made very occasionally handles some of these allergens. The factory uses strict protocols for allergen segregation and line cleaning as set out within BRC guidelines (annually audited). All our ingredient suppliers are BRC or equivalent certified and supply these ingredients to us as free from all 14 major food allergens. Over and above these measures we regularly test product batches for allergens, and to reassure you no traces of allergens have ever been found in any of our products. Our Fruit Syrup is made in a SALSA accredited factory which does not handle any of the 14 major food allergens. Despite all of the above measures, and although we can legally make free from claims on our packaging, we do not believe that any food company can 100% guarantee their products to be completely allergen free due to the possibility of human error. Because of this we have recently revised our labels and are removing allergen free claims from our products moving forward voluntarily. We take our customers’ health extremely seriously and will continue doing our utmost to behave responsibly re allergens.
