  • 250g oat flour
  • 50g ground pecans
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder⁠
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon⁠
  • 500g applesauce
  • 120ml plant based milk⁠
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil⁠
  • 85g Sweet Freedom CARAMEL SYRUP⁠

⁠Caramel pecan glaze⁠

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 150g pecan butter (almond butter also works)⁠
  • 85g Sweet Freedom CARAMEL SYRUP


  1. Preheat the oven to 170 and line a round cake tin with baking paper.
  2. Mix together the dry ingredients and then add in the wet.
  3. Gently mix together until combined, then pour into the tin.⁠
  4. Bake in the oven for 20-22 minutes until golden and just firm to the touch.
  5. Cool for a few minutes before turning out onto a wire rack. ⁠
  6. Mix together the ingredients for the glaze and then smooth over the cake once cooled. ⁠
