  • 380g wholemeal flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 650ml almond milk
  • a handful of dark sweet cherries
  • 4 tbsp Sweet Freedom Fruit Syrup
  • Desired amount Sweet Freedom Choc Shot
  • 1 tbsp oil for cooking


  1. Mix the flour, baking powder and flax seed together in a large bowl. 
  2. Add the Sweet Freedom Fruit Syrup and about half the almond milk and mix well until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the rest of the milk and mix well. 
  4. Cook large spoonfuls of the mixture in a lightly greased frying pan or pancake hotplate until the bubbles are beginning to break on the surface, then flip over and cook until golden. 
  5. Serve with dark sweet cherries cooked gently in a little Sweet Freedom Choc Shot.
