  • 180g self raising wholemeal flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
  • 30g cold pressed rapeseed oil
  • 120g Sweet Freedom Fruit Syrup
  • a generous layer Sweet Freedom Choc Pot


  1. Mix the flour, ginger and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add the oil and Sweet Freedom Fruit Syrup and mix into a soft dough.
  3. Knead briefly and roll out on a floured surface to about 5mm thick.
  4. Cut out and bake on a greased baking sheet for 5-7 minutes at 180C or until the edges are beginning to colour.
  5. Cool on wire racks.
  6. When the biscuits are cool add Sweet Freedom Choc Pot to sandwich together.
